Well Prepared: Birth Prep Workshop
Birth doesn’t have to feel like something that happens to you, but it can be something you experience with confidence, calm, and connection. Our Well Prepared: Birth Prep Workshop is a practical, heart-centered class designed to help expectant parents feel informed, empowered, and ready for one of life’s most powerful transitions.
You’ll finally get all the practical, evidence-based information you thought you’d learn at your doctor’s visits, but usually don’t, so you both walk away feeling ready, connected, and calm.
What You Will Learn
Comfort Measures
Practice with real tools, like birth balls, birth stools and peanut balls, while learning massage and breathing techniques to better prepare for labor.
The Birth Process
Get a greater understanding of what is happening in your body during labor and get real guidance for how to navigate each stage with as much comfort and east as possible.
Partner Preparation
Partners will learn a framework and real strategies to best support you, providing emotional and physical comfort at home, at your place of birth and into postpartum.
Birth Environment
Learn all about navigating your place of birth, including the triage process, interventions, inductions, cesareans and anything else that could arise.
